The clip starts with Lorena, posing for the camera as she cradles the primate in her arms.

The monkey reaches for her eye and grabs her lashes in a tight fist.

Shocked Lorena screams ‘babe’ and the monkey, startled by the noise retreats onto her shoulder.

Lorena then explains what happened to onlookers as the camera still rolls.

Panamanian white-faced capuchin monkeys are best known as companions to traditional organ grinders.

The species again rose to fame when one appeared in the Pirates of the Caribbean film franchise as Jack the Monkey.

As well as Honduras, they are found in Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama and their age can exceed 54 years.
