Final Four or heading home: Winners and losers from the men’s NCAA Tournament Elite Eight

Two men's NCAA Tournament Final Four teams were finalized in Monday's Elite Eight and now two more are joining the group – set to play Saturday with spots in the national championship on the line.

No. 1 seed Gonzaga looked dominant on Tuesday in hammering Southern California to claim the West Region title. The undefeated 'Zags join fellow No. 1 seed Baylor and No. 2 seed Houston in the Final Four.

Coach Mark Few is back in the Final Four for the second time in his career, after the Bulldogs reached the national championship game in 2017.

A look at the winners and losers from Tuesday's Elite Eight games:

Winners

Gonzaga. The Bulldogs (30-0) put the game away early, building a 19-point halftime lead off the strong play of their three stars. Drew Timme (23 points), Corey Kispert (18 points) and Jalen Suggs (18 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists) were at their best and Southern California didn't have a chance in Gonzaga's 83-64 win. Gonzaga was particularly strong on defense in this game early on and won with high-percentage lay-ups from their dynamic passing and cutting offense, while going 7-for-21 from three-point range (33%).
