Who are Levi Bellfield's ex-girlfriends Emma Mills and Joe Collings?
LEVI Bellfield is one of Britain's most notorious serial killers who counts Milly Dowler as one of his victims.
Two women that helped bring him to justice are his ex girlfriends, Emma Mills and Joe Collings.
Who are Levi Bellfield's ex-girlfriends?
Emma Mills
Emma was living with Bellfield at the time of his killing spree and was in the house when he was captured by police after he hid in the loft.
The former couple have three children.
It was her damning evidence that put him at the scene of Amélie Delegrange's murder.
Emma had called Bellfield the night he killed the French student, asking him to go to Tesco to pick up some milk she'd forgotten to buy.
But the call had gone to his voicemail, transmitting to a mast covering the site of the murder.
It placed the bouncer at the scene of the crime – and Emma's Tesco receipt from that night, proving she hadn't bought milk, was also used as evidence to cage him.
Joe Collings
Joe is also the mother of two of Bellfield's eleven children, and left him in 1997.
She also played a major part in stopping her ex's killing spree after she gave a statement about his violent behaviour towards women – particularly ones who were blonde.
Joe told The Sun: "Detective Chief Inspector Colin Sutton has always said if I hadn't given a statement they would have got him eventually, but they wouldn't have known half as much as they did.
"That was the statement that was responsible for getting the ball rolling. The fact I had the biggest, major part in stopping him – it's good."
Horse groomer Joe also previously revealed to Sun Online that twisted Bellfield told her "all blondes are s**gs and deserve to die".
“While we were together I found a women’s magazine, like Cosmo or Vogue, in a black bin bag in a pocket cut out of his jacket,” she said.
“It was hanging in my garage and I was looking for something else.
“The faces of all the blonde women in the magazine had been stabbed.
“I went mad. We had one of the biggest fights ever – a huge punch up. I wanted to know what it was, and told him he was a sick c***.
“He went mad, said all blondes were s**gs and deserve to die."
