Arizona Iced Tea (stylized as AriZona) is a popular brand owned by Arizona Beverages USA and the drink product was made available in 1992. Since then, Arizona Iced Tea became popular and the company crafted numerous products like iced tea cocktails, energy drinks, and tea mixes. Arizona Iced Tea made $100 million in sales in 2010 and by 2017, the company’s total revenue was $3 billion. This week the company has explained it has collaborated with the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) and has revealed a new comic NFT.

“BIG NEWS, ZONIE’S! Arizona APED into the [BAYC]- We’re stoked to introduce our Bored Ape NFT & have some huge things planned,” the company tweeted to its 91,000 Twitter followers.

The official Arizona Iced Tea Twitter handle also tweeted a shoutout to the Twitter handle @boredapecomic and the website boredapecomic.com. The website explains that the “Bored Ape Comic #1 is officially available to mint for 0.04 ETH & limited to 10,000 copies. Bored Ape Comic #1 introduces an amazing cast of Bored Apes as they enter the metaverse,” the web portal adds.

In the Arizona Iced Tea ape comic, there’s an image of two Bored Apes and then a billboard of a Bored Ape holding a can of Arizona Iced Tea and it also says “NFT.” Arizona Iced Tea follows the slew of well known brand names entering the blockchain space from firms like Axe, Slim Jim, Burger King, Oscar Mayer, Mars Candies, and more.

This week the popular Anheuser-Busch brand Budweiser revealed it got into NFTs and also bought the “beer.eth” ENS namespace. Furthermore, Visa, the multinational finance giant, purchased a Cryptopunk NFT last week for $165K in ether.
