Prince Harry ‘less comfortable’ than ‘regal’ Meghan on return to UK says expert

Prince Harry has looked less relaxed compared to his wife Meghan Markle during their visit to the UK, a body language expert has said.

At the One Young World summit in Manchester, the Duke of Sussex is said to have looked “much more ill at ease” while the Duchess looked "regal and elegant”.

That’s according to body language expert Judi James, who felt Meghan looked far more comfortable than her husband.

During the summit, Meghan gave the first speech she had done in the UK since heading back to North America when the Sussexes stepped down from their duty as senior royals.

During her speech, Meghan said: "It is very nice to be back in the UK," just a week after her infamous interview in The Cut where she made a lot of controversial claims about the Royal Family and expressed her frustration at the way she and Harry had been treated.

During the speech, Judi said that the former Suits star appeared “regal and elegant” while giving a "small love letter to Prince Harry with her giggles, nose wrinkles and coy expressions".

As reported in the Daily Mail, she said Harry appeared “much more ill-at-ease on his return to the UK, responding by looking down and then upward with what looked like a sigh.”

Ms James said: "From her stunning scarlet outfit to her giggles, long blinks and nose-wrinkles as she referenced him, Meghan’s performance tonight looked like a small love letter to Harry.

"She also looked quite regal, touching the proffered hand as she stepped from the car like a true and very elegant duchess."

Speaking during the event, Meghan said: "You are the future, but I would like to add to that, that you are also the present. You are the ones driving the positive and necessary change needed across the globe now in this very moment."

She also discussed her invitation to be a Counsellor at One Young World in 2014, the first time she attend a summit for the organisation, the Daily Mirror reported.

She said: "I'm thrilled that my husband is able to join me here this time," adding "to meet again here on UK soil with him by my side makes it all feel full circle."

The Daily Star has approached the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for comment.
