Queen’s choirboy mocked on Twitter after unfortunate photo of ‘big moment’
A choirboy at the Queen’s funeral has been mocked after his big moment was ruined by a lampshade covering his face.
In images circulating widely online, the young singer’s big closeup moment at the Queen’s funeral in Westminster Abbey was trashed by a red lampshade placed exactly over the front of his face, making it impossible to work out what he looked like.
The unfortunate lad almost had his big moment when he sang at London’s historic house of worship as part of the Queen’s funeral proceedings – but it wasn’t meant to be for him.

The image has been posted by multiple users online with one particular joke being repeated all over the place.
Posted above the infamous image, @craiguito captioned: “Mum, did you record my big moment?
“MUM:”
Another user said: “why's that lamp dressed like a choir boy”.
@_Stacey1987 said: “Gotta feel for the lamp head choir boy. Missed his air time.”
@OllieHand agreed, saying: “Imagine your lad being in the choir, and leading a song, and when you tune in there's a big old lamp right in front of him. #queensfuneral”.

Finishing his post off with a crying face, @stqrIord said: “lmfaooo the choir boy’s face being blocked out by a lamp”.
The image has circulated so widely that someone has even changed all the details of a pre-existing Twitter account so its called Lamp Face Choir Boy.
Unsurprisingly, the image of the account is the red lampshade over the boy’s face.
A post going with the change of profile picture says: “My big moment ruined… Mum had the TV recorder all set up as well. I’m not sure I’ll get over this.”
