Denver TV stations KUSA and KTVD currently off air on DISH network
KUSA and KTVD, channels 9 and 20, are currently not available for DISH subscribers.
“Unfortunately, DISH refused to reach a fair, market-based agreement with us, which is why our station is not currently available on DISH,” according to interactive.9news.com.
Local NBC programming, including NFL Sunday Night Football, “The Voice,” “This Is Us,” “Chicago P.D.,” and “Law & Order: SVU,” along with local news, weather and sports, is not available to local DISH subscribers because of the impasse.
“We hope DISH appreciates how important access to our station is and comes to a fair and market-based agreement with us,” NBC said at keepmylocaltv.com.
The websites encourage subscribers to switch to a new video provider or contact DISH and tell them to bring back the two stations.
“KUSA and KTVD are committed to reaching fair, market-based agreements with all the video service providers in our area,” the stations said. “If DISH is willing to make the same commitment, then we are confident that we can get an agreement that restores our station to the DISH lineup.”
Consumers can access KUSA and KTVD programming on many “over-the-top (OTT) providers like DIRECTV Now and YouTube TV that offer instant access when you sign up,” the stations said.
