TechX Acquires Mobilum For $16M To Enable Real-Time Transactions With Cryptocurrency
TechX, a crypto, blockchain, AI, and cloud technologies company, has acquired Mobilum, a digital wallet and payment technology gateway, for $16M CAD ($13.2M USD).
This acquisition will bridge the fiat and crypto space and revolutionize the way people can pay with cryptocurrency – anytime, anywhere, with any payment card and no extra transaction fees.
It enables real-time crypto POS transactions using customer’s existing credit and debit cards. So, crypto owners can spend crypto assets immediately, even in physical spaces like shops and service points.
In addition to the payment processing technology, TechX will gain access to Mobilum’s Xcard digital wallet technology platform. The wallet is expected to launch in Q3 of 2021.
