Charles told stripping Meghan’s titles could be ‘gasoline’ to new Netflix hell

The Royal Family should not strip the Duke and Duchess of Sussex of their titles as it would lead to “Harry and Meghan Season Two on Netflix”, a royal expert has warned.

ToDiForDaily founder Kinsey Schofield reckons that calls to take away the official terms from the controversial royal pair should be ignored as it would be "gasoline on an open flame”.

She told the Express: “I do wish they would consider stripping the Sussex titles but I recognize from a PR standpoint that Harry and Meghan have excelled at monetising victimhood – and stripping titles would just lead to Harry and Meghan Season Two on Netflix.

"It would be gasoline on an open flame and allow Harry and Meghan to continue to attack.

“Additionally, Meghan would likely start to campaign to be known as Princess Meghan… to further pursue comparisons to Princess Diana.”

The demands that Harry and Meghan have their titles stripped come after huge royal revelations in the pair’s six-part Netflix series.

Explosive allegations included the bombshell claims that King Charles leaked stories to the press and Prince William “screamed and shouted” at his younger brother in front of Queen Elizabeth.

But despite the damaging challenge to the monarchy, The Firm has not responded to the calls to remove the pair’s royal titles.

Kinsey added: "I believe 'never complain, never explain' is the strongest strategy the family has.

“Not acknowledging the Sussexes intensifies the narratives: 'They are not on our level. We have important things to accomplish'.

"I think King Charles has a very soft heart towards Prince Harry.

“I know royal watchers want the Sussexes to stay away and surely the King is being advised that while Harry and Meghan are in this toxic mental space they are a liability to the monarchy."
