Denver weather: Highs in the upper nineties expected Wednesday and Thursday
Wednesday certainly won’t be a relief from the heat, as the National Weather Service expects a high of 96 degrees in Denver.
Though showers and thunderstorms are possible, with a 10% chance for them after 2 p.m., Wednesday’s forecast calls for mostly sunny and clear conditions.
Temperatures will drop to an overnight low of around 64.
Thursday’s forecast mirrors Wednesdays, where a high of 98 is expected.
Despite the steep temperature, showers and thunderstorms are much more probable, with a 50% chance of precipitation after noon.
The hot and cloudy day will conclude with a mostly cloudy night and an overnight low of 67.
Although Wednesday holds only a slim chance for rain, most of the week holds a relatively good chance for showers and thunderstorms, and Friday and Saturday should be no different.
The weather service expects a high of 94 on Friday, though that heat is coupled with a 60% chance of showers after noon.
Similarly, Saturday’s forecast calls for a high of 93 with a 40% chance of precipitation after noon.
