Denver weather: Thursday last day in the 90s before weekend cooloff
Denver will see one more day in the 90s before high storm chances cool off the area.
Thursday’s high is 92 degrees, and the day will be mostly sunny before slight 20% storm chances after 2 p.m. In the evening, winds will pick up to up to 14 mph, with gusts reaching 22 mph, and storm chances increase slightly before midnight.
The low Thursday night is 66 degrees.
Storm chances are higher in the mountains, but some of those storms could come off the mountains onto the plains.
Denver and most of the metro is also in another Ozone Action Day Alert Thursday. The hot and sunny weather during the first part of the day will allow ozone concentrations to reach the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups category Thursday afternoon and evening.
