Harry and Meghan hit back at South Park roast amid ‘baseless and boring’ claims

    Prince Harry and Meghan Markle released a statement about their controversial portrayal from animated sitcom South Park.

    After being mocked in the famous show, they were depicted as the "Prince and Princess of Canada" who were on a "worldwide privacy tour".

    The mocking led to reports that claimed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were considering legal action but their spokesperson has since reportedly called that "baseless and boring".

    The married couple joined a long list of famous people that the long-running show has made fun of since its TV debut in 1998.

    Reports of Meghan being "upset" about the episode which contained the pair travelling on their "worldwide privacy tour" to promote Harry's new memoir 'Waaagh'.

    According to one royal commentator, they were considering legal action with their team reportedly watching over the episode.

    Royal expert Neil Sean claimed: "According to sources close to the ex-royals, it appears that, like so many things with Meghan and Harry, this may have legal ramifications attached.

    "Their legal team are casting an eye over the episode to see what is wrong, and what could be turned into something more sinister."

    In the cartoon, two characters that depict Harry and Meghan stormed out of an interview after a TV host asked: "Isn't it true, sir, that your questionable wife has her own TV show and hangs out with celebrities and does fashion magazines?

    "Well, I just think some people might say that your Instagram-loving b**** wife actually doesn't want her privacy."

    However, Mr Sean's claims have since been quashed by the Sussexes' who called the commentator's claims "baseless".

    The show described Meghan is described as a a "sorority girl, actress, influencer, and victim".

    They also seemingly reference Prince Harry's story of his frost-bitten penis, which he included in his memoir Spare.
