Harry ‘can’t forget’ Diana driving him and William ‘with tears in her eyes’
In his new documentary on mental health Prince Harry has spoken candidly and emotionally about his mother Diana, Princess of Wales.
The Apple TV exclusive was finally released after weeks of speculation regarding what Harry would divulge about his life as a royal and the documentary was certainly not short of highly charged moments.
In the documentary series with Oprah Winfrey called 'The Me You Can’t See' Harry describes his life as "puzzling" and how he always just wanted to be "Harry rather than Prince Harry".
In one of the programme's most poignant moments Harry described the first thought that comes into his mind when he thinks about his mother.
"I always wanted to be normal. As opposed to being Prince Harry being Harry. It was a puzzling life," he began.
"But, unfortunately when I think about my mum the first thing that comes to mind is always the same one over and over again."
"Strapped in a car, with a seat belt across with my brother in the car as well and my mother driving being chase by 3, 4, 5 mopeds with paparazzi on.
"And then she was almost unable to drive because of the tears. There was no protection."

The prince continued: "One of the feelings that comes up with me always is helplessness. Being a guy but being too young to help a woman, in this case your mother.
"And that happened every single day."
On August 31, 1997 Princess Diana was killed when her car crashed in a tunnel in Paris, she was fleeing paparazzi after she dined in the Ritz with her friend Dodi Fayed.
Harry went on to say to Oprah: "I was so angry about what happened to her and the fact there was no justice."
Prince Harry has spoken in detail about his life in recent months after moving to America with his wife Meghan Markle and baby Archie.
He recently appeared on the Armchair Expert podcast, explaining that he intended to "break the cycle" of "genetic pain and suffering" for the sake of his own children.
As well as exploring Harry's past the new Apple TV series will look into the struggles of many of the world's most celebrated and loved stars.
