Idaho University mass murder suspect is ultra-vegan with ‘weird’ eating habits
The University of Idaho suspect accused of murdering four people in their beds was an ultra-vegan with a “very, very weird” dietary routine.
Bryan Christopher Kohberger, 28, a PhD student in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology at Washington State University, was snared by police on Friday after students in the nearby university were slain last month.
The University of Idaho students were found stabbed to death in their beds and Kohberger was arrested at a home in Chestnuthill Township, accused of their killings.

Latah County Prosecutor Bill Thompson said investigators believe Kohberger broke into the students' home "with the intent to commit murder".
Idaho students Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin were stabbed to death at a rental home near campus sometime in the early hours of November 13.
Investigators were unable to name a suspect or locate a murder weapon for weeks.
Now a relative of the suspect has said that Kohberger had a “very, very weird” dietary routine.
“It was above and beyond being vegan,” the former aunt, who didn’t want to be identified but was previously married into the family, told the New York Post.
“His aunt and uncle had to buy new pots and pans because he would not eat from anything that had ever had meat cooked in them. He seemed very OCD [obsessive-compulsive disorder].”
Kohberger is being held without bond in Pennsylvania.

He faces four charges of first-degree murder in Idaho, as well as a felony burglary charge.
Washington State University is a short drive across the state line from the University of Idaho and they are partners in several academic programmes.
However, it has emerged that Idaho had no record of Kohberger.
Autopsies showed all four victims were likely asleep when they were attacked. Some had defensive wounds and each was stabbed multiple times. There was no sign of sexual assault, police said.
Local police chief in Pennsylvania, James Fry, said they're still "putting all the pieces together" to determine a motive.
