Former President Donald Trump rolled out a possible new campaign slogan Saturday night at the Faith & Freedom Coalition conference in Washington, D.C.: ‘I’m being indicted for you.’
Trump headlined the conference’s Saturday night gala and continued to complain about the recent federal charges brought against him for mishandling classified materials, again arguing that he was merely an ex-president ‘legally keeping his own documents.’
The former president also called out Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg – who charged him with crimes related to the 2016 Stormy Daniels hush-money scheme – vowing to go after him and other DAs if Trump retakes the White House in the 2024 election.
‘I will direct a completely overhauled DOJ to investigate every radical DA in America,’ Trump pledged, calling them ‘racists in reverse.’
He earned a ‘USA’ chant from the crowd as he proclaimed, ‘I’m probably the only person in history who was indicted and my numbers went up.’
‘Everytime the radical left Democrats, Marxist, communists and fascists indict me, I consider it a great badge of courage,’ Trump said.

Trump knocked around President Joe Biden for son Hunter’s business dealings with China – portraying the president as soft on the rising power due to his family’s financial entanglements.
‘Joe Biden is the most corrupt president in the history of our country, by far,’ he said.
‘Just two days ago, a very respected IRS whistleblower revealed that Crooked Joe sat in a room while his son, Hunter, messaged a Chinese Communist Party Official,’ the former president continued.
Trump then read to the crowd a text message from Hunter to a Chinese business associate.
In the text, Hunter says he’s with his father and then tells the associate: ‘and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled.’
‘This is cash he’s talking about,’ Trump told the crowd of the ‘commitment.’ ‘Within ten days, the Bidens got $5.1 million from China.’
‘Can you believe that? I didn’t know that he was that tough,’ Trump said of Hunter, earning laughs.
Trump then claimed that Biden ‘wants to do nothing because he can’t’ on China wanting to build a troop training facility on Cuba, adding that nothing can be done, ‘unless I get back in.’

‘I have to ask Ralph a question, were your other candidates treated this way?’ former President Donald Trump (center) said, turning to Faith & Freedom Coalition founder Ralph Reed (right), who was seated at the dais behind him, cuing cheers from the crowd
‘In which case I will inform China that they have 48 hours to get any military and spying equipment out of Cuba, or I will drop the hammer, and there will be tariffs unlike anything China has seen before,’ Trump said.
Trump was easily the favorite speaker at the conference – which featured every major 2024 Republican presidential candidate.
‘I have to ask Ralph a question, were your other candidates treated this way?’ Trump said, turning to Faith & Freedom Coalition founder Ralph Reed, who was seated at the dais behind him, cuing cheers from the crowd.
Trump then joked that one presidential candidate ‘was booed off the stage,’ alluding to New Jersey Gov. Chris Chrstie’s, whose Trump criticism Friday morning at the conference got him heckled.
He was joined onstage by MAGA allies – failed Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake, South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who was presented a lifetime achievement award.
The former president teased a second term agenda.
He got big cheers when he pledged to ‘obliterate the deep state.’
Trump said he would create ‘the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’ that would declassify any documents that have to do with the so-called ‘deep state’ and unearth any ‘spying.’
Trump pledged to harden the border and kick illegal immigrants out of the U.S.
He said he would command the ‘largest domestic deporation operation’ ever seen.
And he would ‘deny entry’ to all ‘communists and totalitarians.’
‘My question is, what do we do with the ones who are already here?’ he mused.
Trump again claimed he could have the Ukraine war ‘settled’ in 24 hours.
‘Before I even arrive at the Oval Office, I will have the horrible war between Russia and Ukraine settled,’ he said.
He got boisterous applause when he said he would ‘be your Peacemaker.’
The crowd was made up of Christian conservatives who cheered that it was the one -year anniversary of the demise of Roe v. Wade.
‘I will fight against the demented late term abortionists in the Democratic Party,’ Trump pledged.
The former president has refused to say if he would support a proposed 15-week national abortion ban, which former Vice President Mike Pence, among others, supports.
Instead Trump said that in a second term he would ‘bring everybody together to protect our precious unborn babies in a very big way.’
The ex-president also pledged to not allow funding to go to public schools that taught Critical Race Theory or pushed a vaccine mandate.
Taking aim at the transgender community – he promised to kick transgender troops out of the military again, ban underage gender confirming medical treatments, bar taxpayer funding from going toward gender transitions and prohibit transgender women from participating in women’s sports.
He said he would again release a list of names for potential Supreme Court vacancies.
And he also pledged to hold a ‘big celebration’ on the Fourth of July on July 4, 2026.
