Lady Louise eye surgeries and hobby shared with grandfather Prince Philip
Lady Louise Windsor attended the memorial for her grandfather Prince Philip on Tuesday (March 29) and showed signs she intends to carry on an old tradition carried out by her grandfather.
She joined the main members of the firm, including the Queen, whose attendance was in doubt due to recent health problems and mobility issues.
One of the lesser-known royals, Louise, was also present. She is known for her struggles with her sight, including a surgery that went wrong when she was a baby.
Louise also became known for her appearance as a bridesmaid at the wedding of Prince William and Catherine in 2011.
So who is Louise Windsor?

Louise Windsor suffered with esotropia, which caused her eyes to turn inward, though had surgery to correct this in 2014.
She first had an operation in January 2006 to correct her vision, but this went wrong and she struggled with the condition until the age of 10.
Louise was left with the condition as she was born prematurely, inspiring her mother Sophie to campaign for research into blindness.
The Countess of Wessex is now the Global Ambassador for the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness.
Sophie explained to the Sunday Express: "Premature babies can often have squints because the eyes are the last thing in the baby package to really be finalised."
"Her squint was quite profound when she was tiny," said Countess Sophie. "And it takes time to correct it. You’ve got to make sure one eye doesn’t become more dominant than the other."
Who is Louise Windsor?
Louise Windsor was born in November 2003 and is the daughter of Sophie Wessex and Prince Edward, the Queen's youngest child.
The Wessex family live at Bagshot Park, a few miles from Windsor Castle.
The Queen is reported to consider Louise as a real asset to the family and, speaking to FEMAIL, royal expert Ingrid Seward said: "She has always been an asset to the family and very polite which the Queen loves."
At Philip's memorial, she wore an equestrian brooch, believed to be a nod to Philip's passion for horse riding and carriage riding, a hobby also enjoyed by Louise.
She also wore the brooch at her grandfather's funeral last year.
Louise, 18, attended the memorial alongside her parents and younger brother James, Viscount Severn.
Philip wrote in the book about the sport, 30 Years On And Off The Box Seat: "I am getting old, my reactions are getting slower, and my memory is unreliable, but I have never lost the sheer pleasure of driving a team through the British countryside."
