A MAN in his 30s has died after falling from a tower block, with police investigating the "unexpected" death.
Cops rushed to the scene in Deptford, South London at 7.13am this morning alongside the London Ambulance Service.
They confirmed that the man had "fallen from height" and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Residents of the block were reportedly being directed to the building's main entrance as police cordoned of the site of the fall.
The tragedy is being treated as "unexpected" and enquiries are being made into the circumstances.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "Police were called at 07:13hrs on Thursday, 16 March to reports that a man had fallen from height from the Aragon Tower in George Beard Road, Deptford.

"Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service. A man, believed to be aged in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
"His next of kin are yet to be informed."
The London Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
