Meghan told to ‘teach’ Lilibet and Archie about her ‘trifling’ family by TV star
Meghan Markle will have to teach her kids the word "trifling" because of controversial family members, according to an actress.
Sherri Shepherd, best known for her role as Ramona on ABC's Less Than Perfect, talked about the Duchess of Sussex's half-brother Thomas Markle Jr who keeps badmouthing Meghan in public.
Speaking on the Wendy Williams show, Sherri says: "I feel bad for Meghan. She's now got to teach Lilibet and Archie the word 'trifling'.
"That's what she's got to do. It's a word we all know and trifling always means your family.
"She has got to teach Lilibet and Archie trifling and I can just picture this where little Lilibet goes, 'Mommy, how do you spell trifling?'
"That's how she's got to describe the people on that side of the family."
Sherri then offers to babysit Archie and Lilibet and "help out", prompting the audience to applause.
Because of his connection to Meghan, Thomas Markle Jr landed a spot on Big Brother VIP Australia as "the biggest brother" and has said a number of controversial things about her while on TV.
Thomas Jr claims Meghan "walked all over her first husband" Trevor Engelson and called her "cold" for breaking up with him.
He also used his platform on the show to claim Prince Harry "never smiles" anymore.
Thomas Markle Jr is not thought to have seen Meghan since before she landed her role in Suits in 2011 but has not been shy about insulting her character.
Despite this, he also claimed he wants Meghan to see "the real me" and describes himself as "loveable" and "funny".
Speaking to New Idea magazine, he said: "I really hope Meghan is watching, that’s why I’m doing this, so she can see the real me."
He added: "I want everybody watching to take away this side of me, the real me. I am loveable, nice, I’ll give you the shirt off my back, I’m funny."
