Two men in the US have admitted to raping and sex trafficking a six-year-old girl after investigators found the culprits had a multitude of STIs between them.
Demarcus George, 27, and Mario Waters, 33, both from Arkansas, pleaded guilty to rape and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of a minor.
According to court documents, the girl was taken to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital in 2018, where it was revealed she had a sexually transmitted disease.
FBI agents became involved and the victim told them she had been raped by two men.
An investigation led them to the suspect being George and later Waters.
The incidents took place in a hotel room with a curtain separating the two beds in the room.
The girl had to describe the hotel where the incident took place after she did not know the name.
Authorities discovered that the mother of the girl had rented the rooms after they looked at her financial records.
Physicians at Arkansas Children’s Hospital believe the girl had more than one sexually transmitted disease, which most likely meant more than one person had assaulted her.
Investigators were then able to get blood and urine samples from Waters and George, which saw positive results for different sexually transmitted diseases.
Their trial was due to begin on November 15 but following their guilty pleas, the child will no longer need to relive the events in court.
As reported by CrimeOnline, Acting United States Attorney Jonathan D. Ross said: “The unspeakable crimes committed against this child remind us how vitally important it is to have law enforcement officers willing to investigate and put a stop to these horrific actions.

“These guilty pleas will spare the young victim from having to relive her experience on the witness stand at a trial. Our law enforcement partners work hard every day to protect children from this abuse, and our office will continue to aggressively pursue those who commit these deplorable crimes.”
Both George and Waters will appear in court for sentencing hearings at a later date.
