A mum has been 'moved to tears' by the heart-warming response of strangers who wanted to give her son a great birthday after he was viciously attacked by another kid.
Christianna Peterson, from Bootle, was lying in bed one evening when she saw a "cruel" video being shared on social media of an 11-year-old boy being savagely attacked.
In the clip, a schoolboy was heard threatening to stab an 11-year-old boy's dad and repeatedly kicking another lad in the head.

The vicious attack took place in Adlam Park in Fazakerley, Liverpool, on Sunday, May 2 at around 5pm – just hours before the victim's birthday, prompting his mum to take to social media to plead for help from the public.
Christianna saw the plea and decided she wanted to do something to make sure the boy had a great birthday after the "stomach-turning" incident.
The business owner of Enchanted Events & Party Management, told Liverpool Echo: "I asked the mum if his birthday was coming up so we could do something to make him feel really special but she said it was his birthday the next morning. It played on my mind and I felt terrible.
"I was tossing and turning thinking about what I could do for this kid. My Facebook is brilliant, I used to do charity work so everyone is always supporting me, so I said I'd do a raffle and give any money raised to him for his birthday.
"It was meant to be my business raffling a few packages but it took off. Within 24-hours we raised £300 and took it around to him, he was so lovely and gave me a hug. He walked me out and like a little gentleman said it was getting dark, get home safe.
"It's been a whirlwind the way it's picked up. Everyone was shocked by what they'd seen and wanted to help. I couldn't have done it without everyone getting involved.
"It just took off. It went huge and I was made up for him. Money doesn't fix or change things but it was more to show him there's more good than bad and there are a lot of people that want to help. He's not even my child and I was crying.
"It's easy for people to scroll past and ignore but so many people wanted to come forward and help. The video was horrible to see. It's just wrong, how did they find that behaviour entertaining?
"If my child was being bullied I'd be distraught, but if they were doing the bullying, I'd be mortified."
Since the incident the mum said her son has "a lump on the side of his head" and she had "noticed a change" in his behaviour.
She took her son to Alder Hey Children's Hospital to be checked over.
Merseyside Police and the boy's school are understood to be looking into the reported assault.
