Notorious bodybuilder bicep curls in front of police at Buckingham Palace gates

A bodybuilder has gone viral on TikTok after he was spotted shirtless at the front gates of Buckingham Palace, doing bicep curls.

Liver King, whose real name is Brian Johnson, is a social media influencer with more than 1.7 million followers on Instagram, known for promoting an “ancestral” lifestyle.

He was recently filmed outside Buckingham Palace, with the clip going viral just days after the Queen's death on September 8.

It isn't clear whether Liver King attended the Palace before or after the Queen's death, however he was snapped among a large crowd.

Groups of tourists have flocked to the Palace in the wake of the Queen's death, with many wanting to pay their respects to the late monarch.

The account RecoveryCoachAcademy shared the video to TikTok, in which Liver King can be seen doing reps with two small handheld dumbells. The video has since racked up one million views.

He shouts through the gates: “I’m here. The Liver King,” before it cuts off.

The video was then shared on Twitter by influencer Samuel Perry, who captioned it: “It’s what she would have wanted.”

However not everyone was happy with Liver King's appearance.

One said: “This makes me deeply uncomfortable tbh. Intruding on grieving/mourning to get attention either in real life or on social media. Deeply weird behavior and a total lack of consideration for people around them. Just weird as hell.”

Another tweeted: “The Kings guards would not be liking this stunt. They are gravely serious about disrespect to the Royals.”

The influencer said his aim was to “change millions of lives”, by spreading the word about the ancestral lifestyle he favours. On his website, it says that our ancestors "identified a simple, elegant way of living that enabled us to genetically express the highest version of ourselves."

On YouTube, he has over 170,000 subscribers.
