Pod of 8 killer whales break rudder and try to sink boat in terrifying attack
This is the terrifying moment a pod of eight orcas rammed a sailing boat in a horror attack.
Luis Eduardo Alves Lima, from Brazil, was sailing from Lisbon to Ibiza when he encountered the majestic black and white marine animals on June 4.
He first felt excited and called it a "beautiful moment" to sail with the pod.

But soon he realised the killer whales had locked on to his yacht as a target.
In the video Luis shared on Facebook, he turna off the engine and keeps the vessel stationary just close to the Strait of Gibraltar.
The prominent black dorsal fins can be seen approaching to his Hallberg-Rassy boat.
As the pod approaches, one orca gets under the front of his vessel while two others go right under in the middle where the rudder is located.
The killer whales ram Luis' 12-metre yacht and break the boat's rudder in under 20 minutes.
Luis said the orcas stopped attacking but returned an hour later.
"The second time it was faster because they had nothing else to do as they had already taken the rudder," he told 9news.
"I immediately headed for Barbate for repairs."
When he got back to the shore, he posted pictures of his yacht to show the damage.
He also believed the orcas had been teaching their calves to attack.
"You can see in one of (my) videos the matriarch coming up and attacking the rudder with calf at side of her, then she drops back and then the little calf gets in to have a go," Luis added.
"It was definitely some form of education, teaching going on."
Luis said he was lucky to escape and "otherwise it would have flipped".
Similar attack happened in the same spot in May as a crew member on the boat, Mustiquek, recalled a pod of orcas "hit our rudder" and "vanished after 20 minutes".
