Prince William and Kate launch YouTube channel promising ‘exclusive clips’

Kate Middleton and Prince William have launched an official YouTube account, it has been confirmed.
They shared the exciting news of their new account on social media, writing on Twitter: "We’re now on YouTube!"
The announcement was made alongside a sweet clip of the couple both at work and play.
William and Kate will feature in exclusive clips posted on the popular video sharing site in the coming months.
In the sweet video that accompanied the announcement, Prince William can be heard telling Kate: "You've got to be careful of what you say now because these guys, they're filming everything."
"I know," Kate replies as she starts laughing.
In another intimate moment between the couple, Kate is seen jokingly snaps at her husband Prince William, the future king, telling him: "You don't need to roll your R's."
Footage in the clip also shows the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at multiple royal engagements together.
To a soundtrack with a pounding beat, the 25-seconds long video rapidly shows brief clips of a range of royal events: from the couple’s trip to Bhutan, with Kate trying her hand at archery; to William flying a helicopter and the duchess meeting young children.
The channel has already been curated with a number of playlists featuring the royal couple including speeches, tours, engagements and their mental health work.
The first video on the page announcing its creation racked up more than 16,000 views within the first hour.
The page itself also had more than 22,000 subscribers within its first hour.
Fans loved the news and reacted with much excitement on social media.
One replied to the announcement: "Finally!!!! So great to have a new way to follow all your engagements, news, updates etc… well done!!! It’s so important really to be seen in all media."
Another wrote: "Ahh I love this news, the video and how funny you two are with each other I will definitely subscribe."
The Royal Family already has a YouTube channel, as do Kate and William's projects The Royal Foundation and Earthshot.
The move is likely to be interpreted by commentators as the couple further establishing their public voice on a platform that has a huge online audience.
