Camilla, Queen Consort joined King Charles II to unveil this year's Eurovision stage, wearing a super pricey piece of jewellery.

The royals visited Liverpool Arena yesterday (April 26), ahead of Europe's biggest night of cheesy tunes, hosted by the city on May 13, following the UK's second-placed finish behind war-torn Ukraine last year.

Queen Camilla looked as elegant as ever in a royal blue coat dress which perfectly matched the hue of King Charles' tie, which he paired with a white shirt and a navy suit. Though it was Camilla's eye-catching silver brooch that experts couldn't take their eyes off.

Fine jewellery experts at UK retailer Steven Stone revealed that the band, which appears to be studded with sapphire, ruby and emerald, could be worth an estimated £33,000.

"Laced with both sentiment and history, Queen Camilla's latest brooch choice shows her support for King Charles ahead of his coronation that takes place next week," an expert from Steven Stone said.

"In the shape of the Tudor crown, the silver brooch features a band studded with sapphire, ruby and emerald. Though it's difficult to put a price on such a regal piece, I'd estimate Camilla's brooch to be worth £33,000."

The royal pair met Mae Muller after being given a behind-the-scenes tour of the arena, and setting off a glittering light show which saw them counted down by an invited audience and pushing a large button.

Chatting to the singer, who hopes her track, I Wrote A Song, will end the UK's 25-year wait for victory, Charles gave her encouragement by saying: "We will be watching you with great interest egging you on."

Muller replied: "Thank you, no pressure. No nul points", and Camilla echoed her words, saying: "No! No nul points."

The UK was chosen to host the competition on behalf of Ukraine who were crowned 2022 champions.

It will be the first time the competition has been held in the UK for 25 years.
