Russian troops face abuse after nicking watch from dead comrade
Footage has been gathered appearing to show a Russian soldier stealing a watch off the corpse of a fallen comrade.
The internet has been left disgusted by the alleged act, which is believed to have been shot from a drone.
The footage was posted on Twitter by Ukrainian activist, vlogger and volunteer Serhii Sternenko.

He posted it with the caption: “Exclusive from the 72nd Brigade of the Black Zaporozhets.
“Another Russian died in the Vugledarsky direction. His friend decided not to take the body, but to take his watch. And ran away”.
The 72nd mechanised brigade, or Black Zaporozhets, is a Ukrainian fighting force understood to have been heavily involved in fighting in Ukraine since the beginning of Vladimir Putin’s “special operation” and as far back as the long-running violence from 2014.
The validity of the footage is of course hard to verify but has drawn a huge amount of frustration, prejudice and anger online.
“Moroders of Moscow…” one person commented.
“They can't help it, it's their nature,” another wrote.
A third added: "Vanyushka, my friend! I want to have a good memory of you! Damn, where did you stuff your wallet?"
Reports about the horrific conditions facing both sides in Ukraine have been widespread, however, reports surrounding Russian forces have been particularly shocking.
Some images have purported to show troops with minimal equipment and some unverified snaps have even shown dead troops without guns.
Many of the troops to the front line have also been reported to be from more deprived parts of Russia far from Moscow, leading to criticism to be directed at the Kremlin that it had been using disproportionately high numbers of ethnic minorities in its “meat grinder” tactic.
Elsewhere reports earlier in the war discussed how feared mercenary outfit Wagner had been recruiting convicts using the promise of freedom as an incentive.
