A schoolgirl has been arrested after authorities discovered an alleged 'kill list' on her phone which disclosed nearly ten names.
The 14-year-old student left school employees shocked after they found the chilling record last week at West Gate K-8 School in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
After being alerted to the 'kill list' cops confirmed they found a total of eight young people on the list, whose parents have now been contacted by the authorities.
Police say they conducted a search in the girl's home to look for weapons but instead found cocaine and drug paraphernalia "in plain view" at the property last week.
The girl's mother, Brooke Lynne Hinkle, was arrested on unrelated charges of child neglect, possession of cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Investigators said they also found evidence of "deplorable living conditions", reports Fox News.
The girl, who has not been named due to her age, was taken to the Department of Juvenile Justice for processing.
It has been reported that Hinkle, 40, was booked into the St. Lucie County Jail and held on a $6,250 (£4,782.41) bond.
Chief Deputy Brian Hester said: "After an anonymous tip on Tuesday (March 8) afternoon, school faculty notified deputies of a list of eight juveniles’ names on the student's phone that was labelled as a ‘kill list'.
