Here’s how to get IRS trace to track your payment if you still haven’t got your stimulus check

AN IRS tool can help Americans to track their stimulus check if the relief cash still hasn't arrived.

The agency rolling out the third batch of payments Congress approved in March, but there is a push to send out a fourth round of stimulus checks.

The IRS is sending out $1,400 stimulus checks on a weekly basis.

This includes the accompanying plus-up payments, $3,600 child tax credit payments, and $16,000 child care tax credit payments.

The Get My Payment tool can help recipients find out when their check is scheduled to be sent.

It also tracks if the Covid cash is already on the way.

Those who haven't received their first or second stimulus check can claim them as a tax credit using the Recovery Rebate Credit.

Many are hoping for a fourth set of stimulus checks to be sent out, although the White House has suggested that would be up to Congress to decide.

President Joe Biden is currently working on pushing two of his relief packages through Congress. Together, the packages total $3 trillion in relief.

The American Jobs Plan would improve infrastructure, expand affordable housing, and distribute high-speed broadband to rural areas.

The second package, the American Families Plan, would provide support in the form of child tax credits, federally funded education and childcare, and paid family and medical leave.
