Kate and William in hysterics watching Camilla fix Charles’ wardrobe malfunction

Prince William and Kate Middleton were left in hysterics when Prince Charles suffered an emergency wardrobe malfunction at the RAF centenary service.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge reportedly had a "good laugh" while watching Camilla rushing to help out the Prince of Wales.

The embarrassing moment was briefly captured on camera during the ceremonial service to mark the centenary of Royal Air Force in Westminster Abbey in 2018.

In the archived clip shared by BBC, Prince Charles, who dresses in his military jacket, follows the Queen to exit the Abbey but he struggles to put on his white gloves.

He is forced to stay inside by the entrance and the Duchess of Cornwall quickly gets her hands on to fix the accessories.

The blunder causes a little hold-up in the hall while William and Kate watch on from behind.

According to The List contributor Sara Clark, she said: "At a previous flypast in 2018, to mark the anniversary of the Royal Air Force, Prince Charles had a wardrobe malfunction involving his jacket.

"Charles, Kate and William had a good laugh about it as Camilla managed to sort the issue."

Earlier this week, Charles shared a sweet throwback family photo taken from 70 years ago.

The black and white picture sees the Duke as a toddler, sitting on the grass alongside the Queen, Prince Philip and baby Princess Anne as they all enjoy the warm weather on a hot summer's day in Clarence House's garden.

The young Queen was shown wearing a flowing dress and lapel collar is seen sitting on a picnic blanket with her hands clasped in front of her.

Meanwhile a slice of Prince Charles and Princess Diana's wedding cake has sold for £1,850 at auction.

The slice is from one of the 23 official wedding cakes and features a sugared onlay of the royal coat-of-arms coloured in gold, red, blue and silver.
