A shocked dog walker has spoken of the bizarre moment a pooch he was walking brought him a sex toy during a game of fetch.
John Tutchings, a professional dog walker from Katz N K9z based in Bedworth, Warwickshire, was walking through the park with a client's cockapoo when the strange event occurred.
During a routine game of fetch, the dog suddenly became distracted by an object near the ball.
John told Coventry Live: "I was throwing a ball for him, it landed and he ignored it and ran over and stopped at something else on the ground.
"So I went over and saw it was a sex toy.
"It looked a little bit real to start with, so I found a stick to prod it with, to make sure it wasn't, then I just started laughing. But then I had to make sure the dog didn't start chewing it or anything."
The baffled dog walker admitted that this is one of the weirdest things he has found during his time strolling pooches around the local area.
"It was a weird thing to find," John said. "It's definitely up there on the list of strangest things I've found while dog-walking.
"The dog who found it often reacts to things we find.
"Once it took me half an hour to get him to walk past an abandoned swivel chair.

"Come away from it!" the dog's owner said in warning.
