Kate Middleton sets tongues wagging with hint she’ll play piano at Xmas concert
Kate Middleton has hinted that she is due to make her debut public piano performance during a special Christmas carol concert.
In a video posted on Instagram ahead of tonight's show, the Duchess of Cambridge, 39, looks regal and stunning in her red Catherine Walker coat as she walks towards a piano at Westminster Abby and sits down at the instrument.
Although the post has no sound, it appeared that the Duchess is about to play a piece on the piano.
While the mother-of-three played the piano as a child, she has never performed publicly before and people have taken to the social media platform to express their surprise and excitement.

Ahead of Kate's wedding in 2011, her old piano teacher Daniel Nicholls said she was a "good" player.
He added: "She was absolutely lovely, a really delightful person to teach the piano. I actually taught the whole family except Mike – Carole, Pippa and James, and again they were just absolutely lovely people, normal piano pupils."

Nicholls then went on to say: "I don't think anyone would say she was going to be a concert pianist, but she was good at it, she always did everything she was told."
Kate also played the flute in her school's orchestra and in a group called the Tootie-Flooties with her sister Pippa.
The Duchess decided to put on the concert to pay tribute to the people and organisations who supported people and communities throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

Kate will also host the concert, which airs on Christmas Eve on ITV at 7.30pm and includes performances and readings from celebrities such as Kate Garraway, Tom Walker, Ellie Goulding and Leona Lewis, reports The Sun.
The concert was held on December 8 at Westminster Abbey in front of an audience of more than 1,200 people.
Among them were Prince William as well as a host of other royals including Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Princess Eugenie, and Zara and Mike Tindall.

Everyday people and "unsung heroes" from across the UK also attended the festive service in recognition of their hard work during the pandemic, alongside young carers and members of the armed forces who helped airlift families out of Kabul.
Kate's parents Carole and Michael Middleton, as well as brother and sister James and Pippa, also attended the concert.
