‘Medics said my son was hungover – he died the same day after I bought him pop’
Paramedics told a man he just had a bad hangover after a night out before he suddenly died the same day.
Joshua Kerfoot's family have spoken out about their heartache following his death from 'chronic cannabis abuse.'
The 'kind' and 'loving' 27-year-old from Bury, had become unwell and started vomiting after a night out in October last year.

His nasty symptoms throughout the weekend and into Monday, but when paramedics attended, they told Joshua's mum, Angela, that he was just hungover.
Angela said her son seemed fine and was speaking to her on the morning of his death.
He asked her to go to the shops to get him a 'drink of pop' but when she returned 20 minutes later, he seemed to have become much more unwell.
He was rushed to hospital but then shockingly pronounced dead later that day.
A coroner concluded that Joshua's death was due to chronic cannabis use.
Speaking to the Manchester Evening News, Angela paid tribute to Joshua, saying he was 'loved by everybody' and 'always put others before himself'.
She said that she 'couldn't understand' why paramedics didn't take his vomiting more seriously, particularly as he had been admitted to hospital twice before with cannabis-induced hyperemesis.
"I called 111 on the Monday morning," she explained.
"They came out and told us he would be fine, and that it was just a hangover. But in the past he was admitted [to hospital] with the same thing. I tried to tell them that, but the paramedics didn't check his history."

Coroner Joanne Kearsley recorded Joshua's death as 'drug-related' at the inquest on April 13, noting that he had a 'long history of daily cannabis use from a young age'.
She concluded that there was no other reason to explain why such a young person had had an acute myocardial infarction.
She also stated that "cannabis use is not safe."
The North West Ambulance Service offered their condolences to Joshua's family and said they had not been invited to take part in the proceedings.
However, they invited the family to contact their patient safety team if they had any concerns.
The loss of Joshua has been a devastating blow for his family, who are now urging others to be aware of the dangers of chronic cannabis use.
