SuperRare NFT Marketplace Launches “Genesis RarePass” To Offer Special Art NFTs To Its Users

Prominent art NFT marketplace SuperRare has launched “Genesis RarePass,” through which users can easily receive curated crypto art from some of the top NFT artists on the platform.

Described as a subscription-based service by SuperRare’s COO, Kyle Olney, holders of the Genesis RarePass will have exclusive benefits, including receiving 1x guaranteed monthly airdrop “from a rotating roster of legendary crypto artists for 12 months.”

In addition, Genesis RarePass holders will also be able to win unique artworks, which will be selected via a “provably random on-chain mechanism,” giving each pass holder an equal chance (1 in 250) to win.

A total of 250 Genesis RarePasses will be auctioned on SuperRare from November 15th onwards. The website further states that “once the auction begins, the price of the passes will decrease every 15 minutes for six hours until hitting a floor price of $0 at 7:00 p.m. eastern time on November 16th, 2022.” Be warned! “Supply can disappear quickly in Dutch auctions when excitement runs high—a sellout could occur at any time and a limited number of passes will be sold.”

These new RarePasses have been described as a “historic crypto art collecting opportunity featuring 24 artists shaping the crypto art movement.”

Furthermore, the platform has tapped a unique roster of leading artists to spearhead its newly launched RarePass endeavor.

As per the official website, there are 25 artists participating in the Genesis offering including Anne Spalter,Carlos Marcial, Coldie, Helena Sarin, Krista Kim, Matt Kane, OSF,Other World, Pindar Van Armen, Robness, Sarah Zucker, Xcopy,  ALIENQUEEN, Botto, DieWithTheMostLikes, Drift, Hackatao, Killer Acid, MadMaraca, omentejovem, Osinachi, Sam Spratt, Tjo, Yosnie and Alessio De Vecchi.

According to Coindesk, each artist will create a series of 250 unique pieces of art for each RarePass holder. The collections are intended to reflect the beginning of a new era for each artist, as stated by the marketplace’s COO, Kyle Olney.
