Energy Veteran Roy Phillips Joins Board of Advisors at Intelligent Mining (iM)

Roy Phillips, founder, and CEO of REP Energy, an electricity generating company, has joined the Board of Advisors at Intelligent Mining(iM) following a recent press release.

Intelligent Mining (iM) is a platform responsible for providing environmentally responsible energy solutions which support efficient crypto mining operations.

One of the major challenges faced with the crypto mining industry is the high amount of electricity it consumes. This challenge has caused setbacks in the industry with loads of criticisms and scrutiny from the public and certain regulators.

In a bid to curb this challenge to a good extent and efficiently promote mining operations, iM has decided to revolutionize the blockchain mining model by establishing autonomous, solar-powered rigs built in the desert and owned by a decentralized network of iM token holders. 

Since it is the vision of iM to remediate and provide necessary solutions to the mining industry’s challenges regarding power consumption and its impact on the environment, Philips’ appointment as a new member of its Board of Advisors is a step forward to achieving its mission.

Moreso, Phillips’ experience as a Veteran solar energy provider who always maximizes the opportunities available in the renewable energy business while exhibiting his expertise in the field is considered a great asset to his Intelligent Mining (iM).

Per the announcement,  Philips is set to join efforts with his new company to achieve the best of energy solutions to the mining industry as it appears that both parties share mutual visions related to providing energy solutions. He expressed his zeal to work with the company while noting his intended activities with them.

“He will leverage his energy technology expertise and industry knowledge to provide guidance and direction to iM’s executive team through its continued growth and development as a blockchain mining optimization leader,” the announcement reads.
