Fearless Wallet Joins Polkadot DeFi Alliance

The Polkadot DeFi Alliance announced on Twitter that Fearless Wallet will be joining the alliance:

“Welcome @FearlessWallet to Polkadot DeFi Alliance! As a mobile wallet designed for the decentralized future on Kusama and Polkadot, they are a key addition to our alliance.”

What is Fearless Wallet?

Fearless Wallet is a mobile wallet designed on the Kusama and Polkadot networks supported on the iOS and Android platforms. In the future, Fearless Wallet will be integrated with Polkaswap — a DEX in the Polkadot and Kusama networks, built on top of SORA and Iroha 2. The mobile apps are developed by Soramitsu, with support provided by the Kusama Treasury. Soramitsu is a Japanese technology company that delivers blockchain-based solutions for enterprises, universities, and governments.

What Is The Polkadot DeFi Alliance?

The Polkadot DeFi Alliance describes itself as a space where “industry-leading projects and cutting edge teams come together to propel forward the larger Polkadot ecosystem and the overall cryptocurrency industry.” Alliance members are encouraged to collaborate and support the development of new financial primitives and integrate existing ones. The goal is to build towards the broader adoption of DeFi.

Every month, the alliance holds panel discussions on the latest developments in DeFi and Polkadot Network with dynamic speakers, rotating hosts, and special guests, including Web3 Foundation and Parity Technologies.

Tidal, Equilibrium, Bandot, Konomi, are just some of the already alliance members’ projects.
