Mr Galloway was responding to reports of a shambolic start to Scotland’s COVID-19 vaccine programme with frontline NHS workers forced to wait for hours to get an injection and GPs complaining they are already running low on supplies.
Intolerable. This must be the end for SNP rule.
The controversial former Labour MP tweeted: “Intolerable. This must be the end for SNP rule. #ResignSturgeon. #ResignFreeman.”

Another said: “Nicola Sturgeon should be held accountable for the vax roll out the same as Boris.
“But Boris shows a Churchill passion in this and it seems the SNP wants to hold it back.
“It may cost her votes.”

She said: “Frontline hospital staff who had appointments were left in conditions hazardous to their own health and detained from carrying out their duties in the hospital for hours.
“There is no priority greater than the vaccination programme, and that is why it is essential that Jeane Freeman gives a guarantee to the people of Scotland that such scenes will not be repeated across the country in the coming months.
“It’s time for Jeane Freeman to get to grips with the vaccination programme, publish daily figures on the number of vaccinations available and administered, and ensure that our NHS staff do not pay the price of a bungled rollout.”
Ms Sturgeon has pledged to release daily numbers of people receiving vaccinations from next week after coming under pressure from opposition politicians to ensure figures are regularly published.
She said: “Vaccination ultimately is what will provide us with a route out of this pandemic, so we are absolutely determined to ensure that as many people as possible are vaccinated just as quickly as it is possible to do so.”
Scottish Conservative leader Douglas Ross said: “We’re pleased to hear that the Government have finally listened to the repeated Scottish Conservative calls for daily vaccination figures.
“Publishing these numbers will increase transparency and give the public confidence that progress is being made in our fight against Covid-19.
“We now need to hear more about how the roll-out is progressing across local health boards to prevent any postcode lottery from emerging and to make sure every part of Scotland is getting the same access to the vaccine.”
