Conservative voter Lisa Fullbrook from Reading has told GB News she will never vote for Boris Johnson again and praised former Tory leader Theresa May. Ms Fullbrook was invited onto GB News to join hosts Eamonn Holmes and Isabel Webster in discussing Prime Minister Johnson’s performance amid the ‘partygate’ scandal.

Ms Fullbrook told GB News: “I did vote for him. I thought he was an intelligent person. You know, higher intelligence than someone like myself.

“What I’ve come to learn is he might have a high IQ, he has a very low EQ, which is emotional intelligence in my opinion.

“I wouldn’t vote for him again ever.”

She added: “[Theresa May] has got honesty and integrity, but she doesn’t have the leadership skills either.

So, unfortunately, I don’t know who would take over.

“But at least she’s got some integrity.”

Earlier the caller told GB News: “I can’t believe [Boris Johnson’s] not just being straight and honest.

“I got to the stage now where I don’t care about the reports. I don’t care about the investigation is a complete waste of time, money results.

Ruth Davidson says she’s ‘upset’ at Boris Johnson’s leadership

“In my role, we have to look at value for money all the time, and he’s just wasting taxpayers money.

“I’m sure the police got better things to do. If he knows he’s had a party, which I’m sure he does, why doesn’t he just admit it? Take the punishment and move on.”

It comes after Ms May challenged the Prime Minister in the House of Commons following the publication of the Grey report.

She said: “The Covid regulations imposed significant restrictions on the freedoms of members of the public.

“They had a right to expect their Prime Minister to have read the rules, to understand the meaning of the rules and indeed those around him to have done so too and to set an example in following those rules.

“What the Gray report does show is that Number 10 Downing Street was not observing the regulations they had imposed on members of the public, so either my right honourable friend had not read the rules or didn’t understand what they meant and others around him, or they didn’t think the rules applied to Number 10.

The former Prime Minister asked: “Which was it?”

Mr Johnson replied: “No, Mr Speaker that is not what the Gray report says, I suggest that she waits to see the conclusion of the inquiry.”
