Brit adult star shutting tanning studio after launching online sex workers site
A British porn star is closing down her tanning studio business forever as she said she was "making changes" to make her life as "simple as possible.”
Gemma Massey, who earns a reported £25,000-a-day running a VIP online fan page from home, is set to close her sunbed business – 32 Tanning Studio Tamworth – from the end of the month.
Writing on her Facebook page, the ex-Page 3 girl said she was closing "the doors to Tamworth forever", leaving the social networking site and "making changes and making my life as simple as possible".
The tanning venue opened in 2017 but said it had endured a "very difficult" two years during the coronavirus pandemic and was closing ahead of looming rises in energy costs.
The studio's Facebook page confirmed: "It’s with the heaviest heart we announce the permanent closure of 32 Tanning Studio Tamworth.
"We have had a very difficult two years, and it’s been an extremely difficult and financially challenging time. Now with the rise of energy costs we have now made the difficult decision to cease trading.
"We would like to invite customers to use all of their minutes that they have on their accounts by this date. We would also like to thank every customer for their support since we opened back in 2017. Love 32."
Gemma also posted on her Facebook page: "Five days 'til I leave 32 Tanning Studio and close the doors to Tamworth forever! Not that I’m counting."

Gemma found fame after being scouted as a glamour model when she was just 19. At the time she was earning less than £5-an-hour stacking shelves at Asda while training to be a dental nurse.
"A guy approached me," Gemma told BirminghamLive. "And told me he was a photographer and that I could be a glamour model.
"He gave me his card and decided to give him a call. I was earning less than £5 per hour at the time.
"I ended up being a Page 3 model for lots of the tabloids and was a fans' favourite in the Daily Sport.

Gemma added: "As my popularity grew I went over to America to do modelling work there and became the first woman from the UK to appear on the front page of Penthouse magazine.
"I ended up being a Page 3 model for lots of the tabloids and was a fans' favourite in the Daily Sport.
"I got into adult films and at one point I was earning £25,000 per day. I would only work once a month. I had new cars and free surgery written into my contracts. I was earning a fortune."
She launched her new business, a platform for online sex workers, in December and said the response had been "phenomenal".
"I was offered a £250,000 contract to do porn in Los Angeles recently but I turned it down because of the amount of money I can earn online just working in my living room," she said.
"The site allows other online sex workers to access the site," she said.

"It is an excellent platform for all online sex workers. I launched it just at the right time. At the moment there is a huge demand for online sex sites. There are lots of people at home in lockdown and demand has soared.
"I can earn huge amounts of money and I don't even have to leave my living room. It is just phenomenal.
"Glamour, porn and online sex work has really been brilliant for me. Not once have I not enjoyed my work and I have never been intimidated or exploited in any way. I am providing a service for many people out there and it is very lucrative."
