Brit teacher ‘sexually abused 36 kids as young as FOUR’ after dodging jail

A BRITISH paedophile who allegedly “sexually assaulted” 36 kids as young as FOUR has finally been arrested after dodging jail in the UK for child abuse pics.

Convicted offender, Ben Lewis, emigrated to Spain with a new UK passport less than four months after he was given a two-year suspended prison sentence.

He was spared jail time in June 2016 despite admitting making an indecent film of a nine-year-old girl he was tutoring.

He had told the St Albans Crown Court that day that he wanted to get married and have children and was allowed to lead the next chapter of his life.

However, last month it emerged that the 31-year-old was languishing in prison near Madrid where is awaiting trial after allegedly reoffending while working as an au pair and school teacher.

Among the charges, he is reported to have sexually abused 36 children aged between four and eight at the school in Madrid in a new string of horrific crimes.

Police and prosecution sources confirmed he was already being held on suspicion of possession and distribution of child pornography and they have now revealed he had also allegedly sexually abused children in his care.

In their first official comments on the case, Spain’s National Police stated: “National Police have arrested in Madrid a dangerous child sexual predator who allegedly used his position as a teacher to abuse children.

“Thirty-six victims have been identified, all girls aged between four and eight.”

Although not naming the arrested British man, they did tell reporters that he worked occasionally as a baby-sitter and had previously viewed indecent material.

He was arrested after police in Australia detected distribution of child pornography on the dark web and suspected the author could be in Spain.

A spokesman said: “After receipt of the material, National Police began the arduous task of identifying the places where the material could have been generated.

“Officers reached the conclusion that one of the places where a large part of the paedophile material could have been recorded could be an education centre in Madrid, as the victims appeared to be female pupils of a primary school.”

The arrest occurred on June 24 last year and now horrific details about how he allegedly behaved during his time as an au pair in Madrid have been filed against him.

The investigation is still ongoing.
