Brits are counting down the days until ‘Mad Monday’ when lockdown is set to finally end.
There are 119 days until Monday June 21, the earliest date for when it is hoped all remaining lockdown restrictions are lifted.
The date has been set for stage four, when the Government hopes to scrap all limits on social contact and the country returns to normal life.
Nightclubs could finally re-open, large events may be able to go ahead, while ministers hope to get rid of all limits on weddings.
Revellers are already planning a big night out for when they can celebrate the end of lockdown and return to normal life.
They said there was finally “light at the end of the tunnel” after months of restrictions as Britain dealt with the coronavirus pandemic.
Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan tweeted: “119 days to Freedom?”
One social media user posted: “It’s ok we only have 119 days until life is back to normal.”
One Twitter user wrote: “No more getting p***** in your kitchens after June 21.”
Pub gardens to finally re-open from April 12 confirms Boris Johnson
Another wrote: “Keep going, we’re nearly there. It’s been a tough one but it’s genuinely nearly over.
“119 days more to stick to the rules before we can live life normally again.”
While one said: "Brighter days are ahead."
And one wrote: "119 days till freedom!! We’re almost there people."
Boris Johnson set out his roadmap to end lockdown to MPs on Monday.
The Prime Minister announced restrictions will be eased in four steps, with schools due to return first on March 8.
Beer gardens could re-open from April 12 at the earliest, with pubs set to open indoors from May 17.
Mr Johnson said: “With appropriate mitigations, we will aim to remove all legal limits on social contact, and on weddings and other life events.
"We will re-open everything up to and including nightclubs, and enable large events such as theatre performances above the limits of step 3, potentially using testing to reduce the risk of infection.
"The end really is in sight and a wretched year will give way to a spring and a summer that will be very different and incomparably better than the picture we see around us today.”
The roadmap depends on vaccinations continuing to be successfully rolled out, along with evidence jabs are reducing hospitalisations and deaths.
It will also consider the level of infection rates and the presence of any new Covid variants of concern.
