Chinese takeaway bloodbath sees two brothers sliced up by machete-wielding thugs
Two brothers were repeatedly hacked at by a machete-wielding thug in a horrific attack that turned a Chinese takeaway into a bloodbath.
Police said two men were stabbed in the Carncullagh Road area of Dervock, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, on the evening on Sunday, July 30.
Belfast Live reported that two weeks later, on August 13, the PSNI arrested two people in connection with the machete attack.

The victims were brothers Sammy and Davie McConaghie. Davie, 35, who confronted by the man on the pavement outside a Chinese takeaway beside the pub in his hometown.
The Sunday World reported that he was "challenged" by the man before attempting to run off when he brandished the large blade.
Unfortunately for Davie, he fell to the ground breaking his shoulder before the man set upon him, violently hacking at his upper half.
His brother Sammy, also 35, noticed the attack from inside the pub and ran to his brother's aid, yanking the assailant off Davie.
The frenzied knifeman then turned on him, hacking at his face and leaving a huge cut from his eyebrow to his mouth.

He was then also hit on the shoulder and his chest.
A group then assembled across the road to heckle the brothers as they were bundled into an ambulance, the Sunday World said.
The brothers were released from hospital on Wednesday, but are still being visited at home by medical professionals.
On Sunday morning, August 13, a police spokesperson said: "Detectives in Coleraine investigating an incident when two men were stabbed in the Carncullagh Road area of Dervock on Sunday July 30, have arrested two people, a 33 year old man and a 37 year old woman in England.
"Both remain in custody at this time for questioning."
