The octogenarian who allegedly fatally beat his elderly neighbor in a Bronx nursing home has been identified.

Clifton Bourne, 87, has been charged with murder in the Friday night death of Lloyd Godfrey, 83, in his room at Pinnacle Multicare Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Co-Op City, cops said.

Godfrey died after allegedly being brutally assaulted by Bourne, who was taken into custody at around 6:30 p.m., police said.

Bourne allegedly went into the victim’s apartment at the assisted living facility and started pounding Godfrey’s head into concrete, law enforcement sources said.

“There’s no clear and concise reason” for the attack, an NYPD spokesman told The Post Saturday, adding the investigation was continuing.
