Drake booed off stage by furious crowd after surprise performance at Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw festival

DRAKE suffered a performance fail after he was booed off stage by a disappointed crowd who were expecting to see Frank Ocean.

The singer left his set 20 minutes early after he was announced as the special guest at Tyler, the Creator's annual Camp Flog Gnaw festival.

But the festival-goers were gutted to see that Drake was the surprise performer – not the highly anticipated Frank Ocean.

In the awkward footage, the Canadian hip-hop singer could be heard telling the fed-up audience: "Like I said, I'm here for you," and "if you want me to keep going, I'll keep going."

To his shock, the fans shouted: "No!" and a chorus of booing was his queue to leave. As he left the stage he said: "It's been love. I go by the name of Drake, thank you for having me."

He was joined by Lil Uzi Vert and A$AP Rocky at the Dodger Stadium grounds in Los Angeles.

Like I said, I'm here for you. If you want me to keep going, I'll keep going.

One Twitter user wrote: “Soooo, the crowd at Camp Flog Gnaw booed Drake, Uzi, and Rocky off stage because they were mad the surprise guest wasn’t Frank Ocean? Who hurt ya’ll?”

Another wrote: "Let's not pretend that Frank Ocean is better than Drake now. Y'all really reaching and clinging to that weird Frank Ocean obsession. He's very talented but better than Drake? Come on"

Defending the Canadian rapper, a fan wrote: "How can someone be mad at having Drake perform?!"
Meanwhile, it was reported last week that Drake is starting his own cannabis company, selling a varied selection of “cannabis products and accessories, medical cannabis, THC and CBD."

The Sun's Dan Wootton also revealed that Drake and Kylie Jenner had a fling – after the pair denied earlier this week.

According to Dan, Kylie likely wanted to keep the news from her sister Kim Kardashian, given her husband Kanye West has a long-running feud with Drake.
