The England team woke up yesterday after the euphoria of beating Germany to discover they are now favourites to win Euro 2020.
A host of former players and managers said this was the best chance the Three Lions have had of lifting a trophy since the 1966 World Cup triumph.
England are now 2/1 to win the tournament with Ladbrokes, ahead of Spain at 3/1 and Italy at 4/1.

There is now a huge expectation that England will beat Ukraine in their quarter final on Saturday – teeing up a semi-final game in front of 60,000 fans at Wembley next Wednesday.
As the nation dared to dream, former England manager Sven Goran Eriksson told the BBC: ‘This England is like a golden generation. They cannot go out against Ukraine.
‘They will reach the semi and I think they will reach the final. I think they can go the whole way.’
