Harry’s book deal means Lillibet’s Christening ‘might be off’ warns royal expert
Prince Harry's book deal could cancel Lilibet's Christening later this year, an expert warns.
The Duke of Sussex, 36, confirmed on Monday July 19 that he has been secretly working with American “power ghostwriter” J. R. Moehringer on the book that is set to be released in late 2020.
However, the announcement has raised questions about whether the release date will clash with Lilibet's Christening which is due to take place later this year.
Royal editor for the Eventing Standard, Robert Jobson has warned that the event for the Prince's daughter may not go ahead, tweeting: "Prince Harry is writing a memoir. The script will be handed in in October. It will be published by Random House.
"I’d say the Windsor Christening of “Lilibet” with the Queen present might well be off! Unless “H” intends to combine it with a book signing tour of the UK that is."
The author of Prince Philip's Century also added: "Talk of a $20 million advance for Prince Harry’s memoir (with profits going to charity) … will the Prince refund his dad the money he gave him to set himself up in America BEFORE trashing him in his book I wonder?"

Prince Harry’s memoir mocked by The Morning Show hosts for using royal title
“I've worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story – the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned – I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think.
“I'm deeply grateful for the opportunity to share what I've learned over the course of my life so far and excited for people to read a first-hand account of my life that's accurate and wholly truthful.”
