Husband of disgraced teacher Kandice Barber who was locked up for having sex with a pupil is STILL with her as she serves six-year jail sentence

The husband of a paedophile teacher who had sex with a 15-year-old pupil is still with her a year after she was sent to prison. 

Kandice Barber, 35, took the underage boy to a field, kissed him on the neck next to a bale of hay and whispered, ‘What do you want to do now?’ before having full intercourse. 

The mother of three, who had groomed the child by sending him sexualised messages and videos, threatened to ‘bring him down’ if he reported her before falsely accusing him of rape. 

After she was jailed for six years and two months last year, her husband, Daniel, posted an online tribute featuring a Superman t-shirt and kissing emoji alongside a caption saying ‘always’.

And Kandice’s mother, Dawn Green, has now confirmed delivery driver Daniel, 38, had stuck by his word, the Sun reported. 

‘She is doing OK – it was a very harsh sentence and it is a long time before she can be released,’ she said. ‘We are hoping she can be moved to an open prison soon.’

The supply teacher from Wendover, Buckinghamshire, spotted her victim at a school sports day and added him on Snapchat to send flirty texts. 

She bombarded him with messages including one where she asked him ‘Do you like boobs or bum?’, and sent him a photo of herself on a bed surrounded by sex toys.

Barber was found out after a topless pictures she had sent her victim was circulated around so much it ended up being passed to the head teacher of their school.

She was found guilty of one count of causing or inciting a child under 16 to engage in sexual activity. 

At another trial the year before, Barber was convicted of sending a topless picture of herself to the boy and a video in which she was pleasuring herself with a sex toy. 

After the second trial at Aylesbury Crown Court, Recorder Bal Dhaliwal described Barber’s grooming of the teenager as ‘beyond despicable.’

Daniel, who was watching proceedings remotely in a side room, fumed after the guilty verdict, commenting: ‘It’s a joke.’ 

When Barber emerged at the court entrance he gripped her hand the moment he saw her. 

At the time friends claimed Daniel was ‘under her spell’. 

One said: ‘As far as he is concerned when they got married it was forever and he will be there for Kandice when she comes out of prison.’ 

Following the trial, a former boyfriend came forward to reveal how his relationship with Barber had come under strain due to her obsession with sex. 

The ex, who met Barber on dating site Plenty of Fish, said their relationship was dominated by her ‘huge sex drive’ with her demanding sex up to six times per day, often in unusual places.

He recalled: ‘She liked doing it outside, sometimes in the car, the garden or in woods. We’d be driving somewhere, and she’d say, ”pull over, I’m feeling horny”. 

‘It just got too much for me. Everyone has got their personal needs and that sort of stuff got her excited but by the end of it I couldn’t be bothered, I’d just had enough. It was too excessive.’

He revealed that Barber was an avid pole dancer who regularly performed for him in the garage of her home in Kent, where she lived at the time and had erected a permanent pole.
