I became a millionaire from my side hustle after quitting my corporate job just seven months after graduating | The Sun

A MAN became a millionaire from his side hustle after quitting his corporate job just seven months after graduating.

Cody Berman, 26, from Massachusetts, landed a high-paying job in commercial real estate lending not long after finishing college – but knew he was destined for something greater.

With a yearning to be his own boss, he decided to venture out on his own and sell digital products online.

At the start, he was bringing in about $1,200 and $1,500USD a month – now he and his partner are making just over $100,000 a month on average.

His income has nearly doubled every single year from the last three years due to his booming online sales and drop-shipping business.

People initially thought he was crazy and would be scrambling to go back to his job, but he was determined to make money his own way.

With some persistence, Berman has since made over $1.3 million in net revenue from his digital products, Business Insider reports.

Cody revealed the key has been understanding his audience by learning keyword searches to get his products in front of consumers.

He used the money to invest in real estate in Massachusetts and Connecticut, and now owns a whopping 13 properties.

Eleven of his homes are long-term rentals while two are available for shorter periods of times through platforms like Airbnb, earning $11,000 from the website during the month of September alone.

Cody also has more than $550,000 invested in the stock market.

He wants others to feel inspired to create their own paths in life and try new things to open opportunities they may never have thought of.

Cody said: "Once you learn about this and realize that people are actually doing it, you can't unlearn it.

"It almost makes you resent your job more than you would have if you didn't know that people were hitting financial independence before 30."

"If you're a musician, you could play to one person or you could play to 10,000 people — it's no extra work. You're playing the same songs, it's just that now you're reaching a way bigger crowd.

"That's kind of how digital products work. It doesn't matter how many people buy the thing — all you have to do is create that thing, and then try to get it in front of as many people as possible."
