Lad, 20, freed as a 'sex slave' after spending HALF HIS LIFE 'locked in a Moscow sex den by paedo'
A TWENTY-year-old man has been freed in Moscow after being held as a sex slave for more than a decade, say Russian law enforcement authorities.
He was reportedly cajoled into a flat when he was just nine and then held prisoner inside one room by a sex fiend for more than a decade.
When he vanished, the child was put on the wanted list of missing children in the Russian capital but searches failed to locate him.
It was assumed he had been murdered but was then found alive during a routine police stop.
The suspect named as Eduard Viktorovich Nikitin, now 40, confessed to kidnapping the boy, and charges of sexual abuse are expected along with other alleged offences, say the Investigative Committee – the Russian equivalent of the FBI.
"The boy wasn't allowed to see anyone (except his captor)," said a statement.
"The man used the helpless state of the minor and was abusing him sexually."
The victim – now 20 – is "emotionally damaged" by his abuse and being shut away from the world, although recently he was permitted to go outside.
He cannot read or write.
His family has not been located yet and are seemingly unaware that the teenager, not named, has been found alive, say reports.
The mother is believed to be from Ukraine.
Police say the man pleaded guilty during his interrogation and gave evidence on the circumstances of the crime.
"He will also be checked regarding other similar crimes that were carried out in Moscow," read a statement.
"Investigators are working on finding the boy's family members."
The victim was found after police stopped him for a routine check in a Moscow street.
His difficulty answering questions led to the officers asking him to the police station, where his appalling story came out.
