The parents of Madeleine McCann "deserve an apology" from the young Polish woman who claimed to be her, and the 'psychologist' who represented her, according to the first person to interview the 21-year-old.

Chandler, a Tiktok reporter from London, was the first person to interview Julia Wendell when she set up an Instagram named 'Iammadeleinemccann' – and he had reservations about her story from the beginning.

Yesterday (April 5), it was finally confirmed that Julia is not the missing British girl, with Julia's minder Dr Fia Johannson saying the DNA results didn't match Madeleine's.

And Chris Chandler, a freelance TikTok reporter from London who interviewed Julia Wendell before Dr Fia Johannson started gatekeeping her, said the pair should apologise.

"I do feel she needs to say something soon though now we know Julia is Julia. How long has the Persian medium suspected this and do the McCanns deserve an apology at the least?" Chris told the Daily Star.

Chris, who runs Newsrundownwithchris on Tiktok and has almost 10 milion likes, said that the claims from Julia and Dr Johannson caused unecessary suffering to the McCann family.

Yesterday, Dr Fia spoke of Julia's results in a statement, which reads: “She is absolutely 100% from Poland. She is a small percentage of Lithuanian and Russian.

"But the test results show she is Polish. Julia had all the birthmarks as Madeleine McCann, which I believe is God and the universe’s way of wanting us to get close to the man who sexually abused her, expose him and his possible ties to the McCann case.”

However, she told The Mirror today that she knew Julia wasn't Madeleine when she flew to Poland with her.

"I have always believed Madeleine is alive, but when I flew out to Poland, I knew Julia wasn't Madeleine," she said.
