One-off 'cut-and-shut' car made using Jag & Morris Minor goes on sale for £45,000
A UNIQUE “cut-and-shut” car made from a classic Jag and a Morris Minor is on sale for £45,000.
It was created in the ’70s by Swindon chemist Geoffrey Stevens, who wanted speed but more room for his dogs and equipment.
It features the front of a 1960 Jaguar XK150 sport and rear of a Morris Minor Traveller shooting brake. He named it Foxbat.
Dealer Justin Banks, of Tunbridge Wells, Kent, said: “It’s a one-off – there’s nothing like it anywhere else in the world.”
“Mr Stevens was a huge Jaguar enthusiast but needed a more practical car to transport kit around so he decided to do his own conversion.
"It took him several years to complete.
"It’s extraordinary, incredibly interesting and the only one in existence.”
