Police launch murder probe after teenager, 19, was stabbed to death in central London

  • Met Police called to Paddington Green at 9.13pm last night to teenage victim 
  • He was later pronounced dead at the scene despite efforts of paramedics
  • No arrests have been made and a crime scene remains in place this morning 

Police have today launched a murder investigation after a teenager was stabbed to death in central London. 

The Metropolitan Police said officers were called to Paddington Green at 9.13pm last night where they found the 19-year-old victim.

Despite the efforts of police and paramedics, he was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the victim’s next of kin have been informed.

No arrests have yet been made. A crime scene remains in place while police continue their investigation.

A Section 60 order granting police additional stop and search powers has been enacted in the area until 7am.
